Employee Sick Bank

The purpose of the sick bank is to provide all regular, full-time university employees with shortterm disability protection in the event they are personally subject to a catastrophic illness or injury and face a hardship because they do not have adequate accumulated leave time or other means of income. It is not intended to encourage or reward the abuse or inappropriate use of sick leave. Requests for care of family members including spouse, parents and dependent children will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Donations to the sick leave bank of 1-5 days can be made using the link below. The donating Employee must retain at least 10 of their own sick leave days in their balance.
